The Sachem Braves captured the Suffach County High School Hockey League Developmental Championship with a 7-5 victory over Northport Huntington. After leading 7-3 late in the game, Sachem had to withstand a furious Tigers comeback attempt. The Braves dominated throughout most of the game but showed their championship mettle by holding off the Tigers' late charge to claim the title.
