DiGirolamo Blanks KPC 4-0

HAUPPAUGE, N.Y. (LISN) – Junior Michael DiGirolamo led Sachem (11-5) to a 4-0 shutout victory over the Kings Park/ Commack Knights (12-4).

Junior Chase Saunders scored the game-winning goal and added an assist.

Junior James Drago contributed a goal and an assist.

Senior Jayson Krauthamer made his 8th start in goal for KPC.

Saunders opened the scoring at 13:37 of the second period with his ninth goal of the season.

Drago made it 2-0 at 9:31 of the second period with his eighth goal of the season.

Junior Joe Wandling extended the lead to 3-0 at 14:17 of the third period with his seventh goal of the season.

Upcoming Schedule

Sachem (11-5) faces off against the West Islip Lions (3-12-1) on Monday, January 20th at 9:40 p.m. Sachem won their first meeting against WI 11-3.

The Kings Park/Commack Knights (12-4) square off against the Ward Melville Patriots (3-11-0-1) take on Wednesday, January 22nd at 9:20 p.m at the Rinx North. The Knights blanked The Patriots 7-0 earlier this season.
