Wings Win In Red
TJ Salvato scored the Game Winning Goal with 13:57 gone by in the first frame. Carter Pickens started in goal for the for the Wings. He made 15 saves on 17 shots against. Jack Aberman got the nod in net for the Vikings. He made 26 saves on 40 shots again. Garden City would win the game 14-2.
Alex Bedard and Bobby Seaman scored the first two goals of the game for Garden City. Bedard netted four goals on the night and added six assists for good measure. Seaman scored five goals and garnered an additional five assists. The Wings led 3-0 after the first fifteen minutes.
Jesse Goldstein scored both goals for the Vikings in the second stanza. Both Vikings goals were scored on special teams. Goldstein’s first came on the power play, and his second came on the penalty. Bedard completed the Hatrick after two periods of play. Garden City outscored the Vikings by a total of 5 to 2 in the second frame.
Seaman scored three of the Wings six goals in the final frame of play. Salvato completed the Hatrick with under five minutes remaining. It was the third and final Garden City Hatrick of the game. The terrifying trio scored 12 of 14 total goals for the Wings.
