Carter Pickens made twenty-four saves including thirteen in the 3rd period as the Wings goaltender picked up his third win of the year. Luke Watrous made twenty-nine stops in a strong performance for the Dalers.

Jack Hothersall let it rip on a shot from the point on the power play that beat Pickens at the start of the 3rd period, but a crease violation led to officials waving off what would have been the Dalers defenseman’s second goal of the game. P.J. Tursi scored to put the Wings up by one with 2:22 remaining in the frame. The goaltender skating out came in 2 on 1 with Alex Bedard, who fired a shot that went off the bar and out that Tursi who tapped it home. Salvato scored the game winning goal on the power play with 8:12 remaining in regulation. A give and go with Bedard led to Salvato scoring on a shot from the slot that trickled through the five hole of the Dalers goaltender. Alex Bedard extended the Wings lead to two with 12:39 gone by in the final frame. Bedard fired a shot that was deflected over the net and popped off the glass to backdoor where the Wings star fired a backhander to beat a sliding Watrous.
