What we collect
Google Analytics and your choices
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits to our public pages, traffic sources, video engagement and interest in our services. Analytics loads only after you select Accept analytics. Declining does not affect access to the site. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Analytics cookies button.
Analytics may receive pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser information, and interactions such as video plays and service-link clicks. For supported inquiry forms, we count successful submissions without sending form contents. We do not send private contact details, account identifiers or form answers as analytics event parameters. Public page titles and addresses may contain names already published in our sports coverage. Signed-in visits and private portals, operational tools, checkout and receipt pages are excluded. Advertising storage, advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled.
We remember your analytics choice for six months. Global Privacy Control is treated as a decline. Analytics user and event data is retained for up to 14 months; aggregate reports may be retained longer. Embedded videos and essential account cookies are separate from this analytics choice. Read Google’s privacy policy for more information. Contact us through our contact page with privacy questions.
Video. Game broadcasts are embedded from YouTube. When a video loads, YouTube sets its own cookies and receives your IP address under Google’s privacy policy, not ours.
Accounts. If you create an account or are given a coach, scorekeeper or league login, we store the name and email address on that account, plus what you change in the system so we can correct mistakes.
Alerts. If you opt in to score notifications, your browser gives us an anonymous push token. It is used only to send the alerts you asked for, and it stops working the moment you turn notifications off.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Player information
This site publishes hockey results, including the names, jersey numbers, team affiliations and game statistics of players in the leagues we cover. Many of them are minors. We publish this the same way a newspaper box score does: it is the record of a game that was played in public.
We do not publish players’ contact details, home addresses, dates of birth, schools of attendance beyond the team they play for, or any other personal information.
Removal requests. A player, or the parent or guardian of a player under 18, can ask us to remove a name or a photograph. Write to us through the contact page and tell us the player’s name and team. We will act on it. We may still need to show a team’s score and a jersey number where the result itself depends on it.
Photographs and video
Photos and broadcast footage on this site are taken at public sporting events. If you appear in one and want it taken down, ask us through the contact page.
Cookies
The site sets cookies to keep you logged in and to remember display preferences. Google Analytics cookies are optional and load only after you accept them. Embedded YouTube players set their own cookies independently. You can block cookies in your browser; the site still works, but you will not stay logged in.
Children
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Accounts are for coaches, scorekeepers, league staff and adult fans. If you believe a child has created an account, tell us and we will delete it.
How long we keep things
Game results, statistics and standings are a permanent sporting record and stay on the site. Account data is kept while the account is active. Analytics user and event data is retained for up to 14 months. Aggregate reports may be retained longer.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Use the contact page.
Changes
If we change how the site handles information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
