Long Beach Rolls By Half Hollow Hills
LONG BEACH, N.Y. (LISN) — Liam Young netted a hat-trick and added an assist to lead Long Beach to a commanding 7-1 win over Half Hollow Hills on Friday night.
Patrick Henry potted a goal and added three assists. Fernando Cerda III scored once in a two-point performance.
Patrick Reilly stopped 20 of 21 shots for Long Beach. Brandon Rossi made 21 saves in the loss for Half Hollow Hills.
Long Beach took control early with first-period goals from Luke Pichichero and Cerda, jumping out to a 2-0 lead.
They extended their advantage in the second period as Henry and Young found the net, with Young’s goal coming on the power play.
The dominance continued in the third, with Young striking twice more to complete his hat trick, and Ahearn adding another tally. Dylan Reader scored Half Hollow Hills’ lone goal at 13:00 of the final frame.
