Dalers Defeat Quakers

Following a 5-4 overtime loss to the Garden City Wings, the Farmingdale Dalers won 4-2 against the Friends/ North Shore Quakers. Dante Scibelli scored the Game Winning Goal. Luke Watrous picked up his second win for the Dalers. Daniel Phieffer made twenty-one saves in his NYIHSHL debut for the Quakers. The Dalers moved to 2-1-1 on the campaign. The Quakers dropped to 1-2 on the year.

Andrew Siegal opened the scoring to put the Dalers up 1-0 with 7:02 remaining in the first frame. Guanlin Sheng tied the game at one apiece with less than a minute remaining in the 1st period. The Dalers and Quakers were deadlocked at 1-1 after fifteen minutes.

At the start of the second stanza, the Farmingdale Dalers went up 3-1. Dante Scibelli scored his ninth and tenth goals of the year in a span of just eighteen seconds. Cameron Black lit the lamp with 11:54 remaining in the 2nd period. One minute and ten seconds later, Teddy Kenny fired back for the Quakers

The Friends/ North Shore Quakers trailed by two after two periods. Neither team scored in the final fifteen minutes of regulation. Daniel Scibelli has now scored the second most goals in the varsity division this season. Scibelli has lit the lamp ten times with six helpers on the year. The Dalers star leads the league with 16 points in four games this season. Scibelli was a point per game player last year with three goals and seven assists.
