Bulls stampede past Cougars

Hauppauge, N.Y. (LISN)Sophomore Aidan Landrigan led the Smithtown/Hauppauge Bulls (11-1-0) with one goal and five assists in a dominant 14-0 victory over the Middle Country Cougars (0-12-0) on Monday night at The Rinx.

Junior Connor Dubeau added two goals and two assists. Senior Brendan Landrigan scored twice and added two assists.

Junior Jack Pring backstopped the Bulls to his third shutout victory through five starts.

Smithtown/Hauppauge has now shut their opponents out in three consecutive games and 10 straight periods.

The Bulls have not allowed a goal since the 2nd period of their 4-1 victory over the Kings Park/Commack Knights on November 11.

Junior Andrew Martens made his sixth start in goal for the Cougars.

Senior Richard Pfister III scored his sixth of the season with 12:05 remaining in the first period.

Brendan Landrigan followed with a goal at the 11:00 mark to make it 2-0 Bulls.

Senior Max Campo added his first goal of the game with 10:48 left in the first frame.

Senior Andre McGraime potted his third of the year to make it 4-0 with 8:10 remaining of the 1st period.

Senior Raymond Sherwood struck at the 3:42 mark to make it 5-0.

Aidan Landrigan scored his ninth of the season with 2:57 remaining in the 1st period.

Senior Shane Reidy potted his tenth of the season, extending the lead to 7-0 with 2:11 left in the 1st period.

Sherwood netted his sixth of the season, a shorthanded goal, at 13:49 in the second stanza to make it 8-0.

Senior David Wetzel added a power-play marker, his sixth tally of the season, with 10:57 remaining in the 2nd period.

Junior Connor Dubeau scored his first of the night with 4:10 left in the 2nd period

Campo notched his second goal of the night, and 12th of the season, with 3:01 remaining in the frame.

44 seconds into the 3rd period, Junior Draven Cacciani scored his second goal of the campaign to make it 12-0.

Brendan Landrigan added his second goal of the game, and 18th of the season, at the 8:50 mark in the final frame.

40 seconds later, Dubeau capped off the night with his second of the game, and third of the season to make it 14-0.
