Bulls stampede past Cougars
Hauppauge, N.Y. (LISN) — Sophomore Aidan Landrigan led the Smithtown/Hauppauge Bulls (11-1-0) with one goal and five assists in a dominant 14-0 victory over the Middle Country Cougars (0-12-0) on Monday night at The Rinx.
Junior Connor Dubeau added two goals and two assists. Senior Brendan Landrigan scored twice and added two assists.
Junior Jack Pring backstopped the Bulls to his third shutout victory through five starts.
Smithtown/Hauppauge has now shut their opponents out in three consecutive games and 10 straight periods.
The Bulls have not allowed a goal since the 2nd period of their 4-1 victory over the Kings Park/Commack Knights on November 11.
Junior Andrew Martens made his sixth start in goal for the Cougars.
Senior Richard Pfister III scored his sixth of the season with 12:05 remaining in the first period.
