Bulldogs Power Past Manhasset
LONG BEACH, N.Y. (LISN) — Jourdan Luskoff scored twice on the power play in a three-point outing to lead the Bellmore/Merrick Bulldogs to a 4-2 victory over Manhasset on Wednesday night.
Collin Roulston netted two power-play goals of his own. Brandon Richardson added two key assists in a strong two-way performance for the Bulldogs.
Joey Braglia stopped 15 of 17 shots for the Bulldogs. Dylan Ruzz made 43 saves in the loss for Manhasset.
After a scoreless 1st period, Luskoff scored a power-play goal at 2:16 of the 2nd period to open the scoring. Luskoff redirected a shot from the point by Richardson.
Luskoff netted his second power-play goal of the night at 5:49 in the second stanza to extend the lead to 2-0.
Roulston buried a rebound for the Bulldogs third power-play goal of the game at 12:32 in the 2nd period to make it 3-0.
15 seconds later, Theo Baltic responded for Manhasset on a shot from the slot to make it 3-1.
In the 3rd period, Jason Eoanidis cut the deficit to one with a power-play goal at 11:04.
Roulston sealed the game with his second power-play goal at 13:24.
