Nick Morolla scored twice as the 1st seed Bethpage Eagles won 6-2 over the Roslyn/ E. Williston/ Carle Place Spartans in the NYIHSHL Quarterfinals. Matteo Bellise made 29 saves in a winning effort for the Eagles. Zach Goldman made 15 stops on 20 shots against in the first two periods for the Spartans. Vincent Psalides made nine saves on ten shots after replacing Goldman at the start of the 3rd period. 

Nick Morolla scored to give the Bethpage Eagles a 1-0 lead with 11:20 remaining in the 1st period. Stavros Likourentzos entered the offensive zone, carried it beneath the goal line and made a no-look backhand pass to Morolla who fired it into a wide open net after Goldman slid post to post. Jake Kelly potted his first of the post-season just 31 seconds later to extend the lead to two. The Bethpage blue liner entered the zone as he cut left-to-right and let loose a quick shot that was redirected past Goldman by the stick of a Spartans defender. 

Tyler Wodicka scored a power play goal to give the Eagles a 3-0 lead with 12:08 left in the second stanza. Stavros Likourentzos won the draw back to Marko Lisica who fired a shot that Wodicka redirected past the goalkeeper. Jacob Pinsk put the Spartans on the board with 7:37 remaining in the 2nd period. Pinsk rifled one beneath the right shoulder of Bellise on a shot from between the left wing dot and hash mark. Nick Morolla scored his second of the playoffs to put the Eagles back up by three with 4:51 left in the second frame. Marko Lisica entered the zone and dished it cross ice for Morolla who fired a one-timer past Goldman. Stavros Likourentzos went top-shelf to score a shorthanded, breakaway goal with 39 seconds left in the frame. Nikolas Psalidas made it 5-2 with 13 seconds left in the frame. Bellise got caught in traffic after coming out of his crease to make the first save and Psalidas pounced on the loose puck before carrying it left-to-right to bury it in the wide open net. 

Vincent Psalidas started the 3rd period for the Spartans. Jake McAuliffe scored the lone goal of the 3rd period with 8:16 remaining. McAuliffe dangled past the defense then went forehand-backhand to tuck it past Psalidas.
