Senior Jack Salva scored his fifth goal of the season with 9:10 remaining in the first frame to make it 1-0 KPC. Salva redirected a shot from the point by Senior Nick Sattler past the goaltender.
Senior John Coyle scored his first of the season, and the eventual game winner, with 54 seconds left in the 1st period to make it 2-0. Coyle overpowered the defender, carried the puck towards the goal line and scored on an off angle shot.
Senior Brian Prange scored his first of the season, a 4 v 4 goal, with 11:45 left in the 2nd period to make it 3-0. Prange toe-dragged past the defender, shielding the puck as he drove from the right wing to the net, and went backhand-forehand.
Senior Ronny Kemly scored the fourth consecutive Knights goal with 9:55 remaining. Kemly came in on a breakaway and went backhand-forehand.
Junior Logan Booth Alum scored his second of the season to break the shutout with 7:21 remaining in the frame. Booth Alum slipped past the defender to deflect a pass from Senior Eathan Brdey on net, before the Junior buried his own rebound.
Senior Jesse Lemza, the Knights Captain, scored 21 seconds into the 3rd period to make it 5-1. Lemza forced a turnover, walked in and fired a shot on goal which was denied by Clark. Kemly tried to score off the rebound before the Captain finished the job.
