St. Anthony’s Edges East Islip 2-1

HAUPPAUGE, N.Y. — Senior James Schendorf scored the game-winning goal to lift St. Anthony’s Friars (18-1-0) to a 2-1 victory over the East Islip Chiefs (9-10-0) on Monday night.

Senior Joe Rocca recorded one goal in the win.

Senior Dom Feiler picked up his 8th win in as many starts for St. Anthony’s.

Senior Patrick O’Shea made his 12th start in goal for East Islip.

Junior James Walsh opened the scoring at 8:20 of the 2nd period with his 2nd goal of the season to make it 1-0 EI.

Rocca tied the game with his eighth goal of the season at 0:17 of the 2nd period.
