Siebring’s Hat Trick Powers Wallace to 9-1 Tournament Rout of Saugeen Valley

Seth Siebring delivered a dominant hat trick performance as Wallace dismantled Saugeen Valley 9-1 in NYIHSHL tournament action Saturday night at Tara Community Centre. The explosive offensive display saw Wallace score three goals in each of the first and third periods while completely overwhelming their opponents in what became a showcase of balanced scoring depth.

Siebring opened the floodgates with the game-winning goal just 5:15 into the first period, assisted by Kaylee Martin, before adding two more goals in the second period to complete his hat trick. The standout forward finished with four points (3G, 1A) while also setting up Tyler Roy’s opening goal. Wallace’s offensive onslaught was complemented by strong performances from Alton Stirling (2G, 1A) and both Roy and Jacob Wilson, who each contributed two goals.

The game was effectively decided in the opening frame as Wallace jumped out to a commanding 3-0 lead. Roy struck first at the 5:45 mark with help from Siebring, followed by Siebring’s goal and an unassisted tally from Stirling with just 31 seconds remaining in the period. Despite Mason Hartman scoring Saugeen Valley’s lone goal in the second period, Wallace continued to pour on the offense with Wilson adding two third-period goals to cap the decisive victory.

Flynn Ribey earned the win in goal for Wallace, allowing just one goal, while Saugeen Valley’s James McKnight faced a difficult night surrendering nine goals. The lopsided result demonstrates Wallace’s tournament readiness as they advance with impressive offensive firepower and balanced contributions across their lineup.
