HAUPPAUGE N.Y. (LISN)N – Senior Jayson Krauthamer backstopped the Kings Park Commack Knights (6-1) to a 5-0 shutout victory over Sachem (4-3).

Senior Jack Salva scored twice in a three point performance.

Senior Ronny Kemly scored once in a three point performance.

Senior Michael DiGirolamo started his fourth game of the season for Sachem.

Kemly opened the scoring with 9:45 remaining in the 1st period. The senior buried it on the doorsteps.

Salva doubled the lead with 6:14 to go in the second stanza. The senior buried a rebound on a backhand shot.

Salva netted his 10th of the season with 32 seconds left in the 2nd period. Salva beat DiGirolamo on a one-timer.

Senior Brian Prange scored 30 seconds into the 3rd period. Prange rifled it past the Sachem goaltender for his third of the season.

Senior John Coyle scored his fourth of the season with 2:43 left in the final frame.
