The middle period erupted with three goals in a span of just 3:41, setting the tone for an offensive explosion. RORY GOWAN opened the scoring for Arran Elderslie B at 4:51, but JACOB MACDOUGALD answered quickly for the A squad just 3:28 later. Hatten then capped the period with an unassisted marker at 1:10, giving his team a 2-1 advantage heading into the final frame.

The third period turned into an absolute thriller with five goals changing hands in rapid succession. COLTON HINDMAN tied it 2-2 for Arran Elderslie A at 3:51, but Hatten responded just 28 seconds later with what would prove to be the game-winner.
