The Bulls captain, Senior Brendan Landrigan, scored the game-winning goal at 2:13 in the first frame to double the Bulls lead.
Avlonitis lit the lamp for his 4th of the season at 13:47 in the 2nd period. Senior Andre McGraime carried it down the ice, showing off his silky mitts to blow by multiple Tigers, and set up shop in Gretzky’s office before dishing it to Avlonitis for the tap-in.
Senior R.J. Pfister creeped his way in from the blue line before sniping top cheddar to make it a four score game at 6:03 in the 2nd period.

Upcoming Schedule
The Northport/ Huntington Tigers (7-10) are set to face the St. Anthony’s Friars (16-0-1) on Monday, January 27 at 7:50 p.m. The Tigers fell 6-0 in their first meeting against the Friars.
The Tigers have clinched the #6 Seed, an improvement from last season’s 7th place finish, but it is unlikely that they can advance any higher than that as they close out the season with games against the aforementioned #1 Seed Friars, the #3 Seed Knights.
The Tigers will also have to close out the season against a West Islip Lions team that has no margin for error if they want to sneak into the playoffs.
The Smithtown/ Hauppauge Bulls (16-1) take on the Kings Park/ Commack Knights (13-4) on Wednesday, January 29 at 7:50 pm. The Bulls defeated the Knights 4-1 in their first meeting.
Smithtown/ Hauppauge has clinched the #2 seed. To have a chance at the #1 seed, the Bulls have to win out, and need St. Anthony’s to lose. On the other hand, the Knights are at risk of dropping out of the #3 seed in the final games of the season for the second time in as many seasons.
KPC needs to win two out of their last three games, which means beating the Bulls in their next matchup or the Friars in the final game of the season. So Smithtown/. Hauppauge’s best chance at securing the #1 spot is to hold KPC’s feet to the fire.
