Shane Reidy scored the Game Winning Goal with 14:25 remaining in the second stanza. Aidan Halliday recorded a shutout in his second win of the season through five starts for the Bulls. Boden Rudloff kept his team within striking distance with a string of show stopping saves, but the Tigers goaltender picked up his third loss in six starts. Smithtown Hauppauge has now won back-to-back games under newly minted Head Coach Mark Dubeau.

The game was tied after the end of the first frame thanks in no small part to the heroics of Northport Huntington netminder Boden Rudloff. Thirty-five seconds into the second period, Shane Reidy scored the eventual GWG to open the scoring for Smithtown Hauppauge. Northport Huntington trailed by one after two periods of play.

Brendan Landrigan scored a power play goal to give the Bulls a 2-0 lead in the final frame. With 5:30 remaining in regulation, Gavin Bareham sealed the deal for Smithtown Hauppauge with a beautiful breakaway goal. The Bulls moved to 5-4-1 on the campaign. The Tigers dropped to 4-6 on the season.
