Anthony Kulp delivered a masterful three-point performance, recording two goals and an assist to lead Fordham University to a convincing 6-3 victory over Delaware at Gold Ice Arena on Sunday. The prolific forward, who entered the game with 34 points in 15 games, continued his torrid pace while helping the Rams improve to 10-5 on the season.

Fordham’s balanced offensive attack proved too much for Delaware to handle, with six different players finding the back of the net. Danny Koehler and Andrew Carlson each contributed a goal and an assist, while Calum Haslam matched that production. Bobby Rotondo rounded out the scoring with a goal of his own, as the Rams capitalized on their opportunities throughout the contest.

Delaware battled valiantly despite falling behind early, getting goals from Matt Crowell and Charles Allen to keep pace. Michael Gibbons, the Blue Hens’ leading scorer with 20 points in 10 games entering the night, registered an assist in the losing effort. Delaware goaltender Gavin Schornstein faced a barrage of shots, stopping 35 of 41 attempts but couldn’t stem the tide of Fordham’s relentless attack.

The victory was anchored by stellar goaltending from Fordham’s Daniel Gerts, who turned aside 40 of 43 shots for a .930 save percentage. The performance helped the Rams outshoot Delaware 44-43 in what became an entertaining back-and-forth affair that showcased both teams’ offensive capabilities in ECHC conference play.
