lihockey.com is run by LI Sports Network. By using the site you agree to what follows. If you do not, please do not use it.
What the site is
We publish schedules, scores, standings, statistics, articles and video for hockey leagues on Long Island. We try hard to get it right, and we correct mistakes when we find them, but we do not guarantee that everything on the site is accurate or complete at any given moment. Scores can be entered late or entered wrong. Where a result matters officially, the league’s own record governs, not ours.
Using the site
You may read the site, link to it, and share individual pages freely. You may not scrape it in bulk, copy our statistics database wholesale, republish our articles or photographs without permission, or use the site to harass anyone.
Accounts
If you are given a login as a coach, scorekeeper or league official, you are responsible for what happens under it. Keep the password to yourself. Enter results honestly. We can suspend an account that is misused.
What belongs to whom
Articles, photographs, video and the design of this site belong to LI Sports Network or to the photographers credited on them, and are protected by copyright. Team names, crests and league marks belong to those teams and leagues and appear here to identify them.
If you want to license a photograph or a piece of footage, ask us through the contact page.
Corrections
If something on the site is wrong, tell us. We would rather fix it than argue about it.
Other sites
We link to YouTube, league sites and team sites. What happens on those sites is up to them, not us.
Liability
The site is provided as it is. LI Sports Network is not liable for losses arising from your use of it, including any decision made on the basis of a score, statistic or schedule shown here.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top tells you when we last did.
