The Summer Shootout is hosted by the Long Island Warriors Hockey Club, a veteran hockey program for military veterans, active duty and reserves. The weekend brings warrior programs from across the Northeast together with New York first-responder and civil-service teams, including FDNY EMS, NYPD, New York State Troopers, Nassau County PD, DSNY and more. Teams play three round-robin games in three divisions (A, C and E), with the top four in each advancing to Sunday's semifinals and championships. LI Sports Network streams eleven games live and free on its YouTube channel.
